SERVPRO of North Rensselaer and South Washington Counties stands by our 1-4-8 policy to our customers. When receiving any kind of loss, we make it our priority to make sure that our customers are contacted within 1 hour. During this initial telephone call, we will gather all the preliminary information and schedule the best time to get onsite. After getting an idea from the customer on the loss details, we understand the equipment needed to start the job and from there the items are loaded onto our trucks. This also gives us an opportunity to prepare our technicians with the job details prior to arriving onsite. The number 4 represents the amount of time we will need to get to your home. That is right folks, we want to get there ASAP! The faster we can arrive to your home and get the job done, it will seem like it never happened. Once we arrive, we do an inspection and walk you through the steps we would take to complete the project. We always want to insure they homeowners are comfortable with the process, and then we explain the documents they need to sign in order to have us begin the mitigation. The number 8 represents the time we have to be able to contact the homeowner’s insurance company or property manager. During this telephone conversation, we give a briefing of the damages and what we foresee the work that is needed to insure the structure back to good standing in the shortest amount of time.
